Anyone pull dry van for ATS?

I don't have any info about ATS dry van fleet. I think it's like a lot of companies where a negative review or a bad experience can also depend on the driver. I will tell you ATS flatbed has been truthful and reliable about pay. Also the orientation pay and the guaranteed pay in your first month. They do pay exactly what they promised. That's something that my highly respected and reputable last company stopped doing after they got bought out by TFI. They literally lied about pay and hid new pay cuts.. So I left. I followed a friend over to ATS and I'm getting used to it. I never get bothered by safety or HR or anyone in operations. I'm able to do what I need and the money is better than what the TFI flatbed companies are paying in 2025. Dryvan make a little less as you probably knew.. they get the same newer model trucks and sometimes you get a brand new one. I don't regret going to ATS. I think you won't either.

Are you leasing or a company driver just curious I was there on the flatbed division in 2011 thru 2016.

I'd be company. If the company side goes really well I might consider a lease with them, but I've heard so many horror stories about leasing a truck that I'm really hesitant to do it.

I think Cox only has about 100 trucks. Is that considered large? The carrier I'm with now has 500. I'm not sure how people find these tiny 10 trucks or less outfits to work at. I'd be concerned about them going under with this freight market.

Sounds like it's going pretty good over there these days, thought about applying again but at 64 year's old my good days are past me...happy trails driver.

The best flatbed drivers are in your age group IMHO because of maturity, know-how and commitment. I don't actually see you as old. You'd be fine here. Patience and maturity.
