I rested the weight of the thing on box below and then installed eye bolts as anchors to suck ladder flush up against the locker. It doesn't budge or rattle. I also have it locked with a bike lock on the right side.

Good call on the resting on the box, with the two straps as well, that’s not going anywhere

That ladder looks like it will be a lot safer to get you up to where you need to go

Bought a little Giant knockoff. Of course a bit short a few times to go ground to top, plenty for me to want to climb down. So I use from deck, or I do not leave ladder.
Á strap at 3’ to trailer stake pockets. It’s rock solid even to sides. Feels much safer. IMO not good for outside sun/weather storage. Stuff with those adjustments need to be protected.

    9/10 There’s a better option than climbing.
Use your winches to lift rolled tarp to deck or load.
I agree if shipper hasn’t provided suitable facilities for tarping then it’s refused or not tarped.
    Painters pole is best investment.
Haven’t used my ladder in years.
Nobody pays you while your lying in a hospital bed.

    cke and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
