USA Truckers Wages Rise With Illegals Being Taken Off the Roads

Let me know when that Chicago to fargo pays $3500 then we may be on to something.

Big money awaits you in Fargo

 

You suppose to make the big money going to Fargo.

 

I hauled 8 loads of coiled steel into Sioux Falls from Shreveport, $2800 each time.about 900 miles.Nothing going out,but I did go get some precast in Minnesota going west,it paid ok.

 

$3 a mile going in is not good enough when you have to come out for $1 something.

 

I refused to haul their $1.50 a mile crap out of there.

 

Neither rates or volume have moved in a positive direction where I run. Both continue to fall.

 

2K for a day of work is more than enough. Then the rates going out are more like $2 per mile.
But I don't think they'll give you 2K from Chicago to Fargo.

 

Chicago used to be the place to be empty on Monday mornings. Always plenty of loads paying good.
