Correlation doesn't necessarily imply causation, but my older brother was charged for jaywalking near downtown Savannah as a teen. Sometimes we're profiled out here based on skin color alone. I remember back in 2013, I was walking from a Tim Hortons in Moraine OH and three cops pulled up on me before I got to down to the stop sign (barely 700 feet away). I know it seems pretty stupid to you, fam, but...

This might be her best option. I would pass by the Rumpke landfill omw to take my daughter and her mother to the Cincinnati Children's hospital. Someone I worked with said Old man Rumpke used to charge $10 to handle his family's garbage back when he was a child; he had no idea that Rumpke would be what it is today. I'd have done it if I lived in the Cincinnati area.

Yes, Rumpke hires drivers with misdemeanors, as they review applications on a case-by-case basis. While they are an equal opportunity employer, the specific nature of the misdemeanor, how long ago it occurred, and its relevance to the job will be considered.

You didn't say anything stupid, T.
Concorde mentioned that since youre an African American woman, you were probably profiled by law enforcement then subsequently charged for something trivial (jaywalking/walking while black). Smokey thought that what Concorde posted was BS because some people like to believe that disparities don't exist between different races and classes. It would seem stupid on the surface level, but IYKYK. Cincinnati is a different world

I see these types of posts on here often. Criminal records, missing work history, bad DAC report, etc. Question, isn't it true that this type of applicant would stand a better chance at a career if they had 1 year of CDL driving experience? Yes.
There is an easier path to getting 1 year driving experience. It doesn't require DAC. Find a mom and pop business that needs a delivery driver. Like a small manufacturing business. I see many small businesses looking for a CDL driver on Craigslist. I still look at Craigslist jobs in the transport section in my hometown of DFW and I could get a local job right now there. No DAC. Low paying jobs, yes. But you need a work history.

Yea I was walking down a street with a friend, being the cracker that I am, and put a can of dip in my pocket. A white cop slammed on nlhis brakes, jumped out of his car ran up to me.and said " what did you just put in your pocket? I said a can of dip, you want to see it? He said no and got back in his car and left. Guess I was walking while white. Guess I was driving while white when I got all those tickets in high school on my motorcycle.
