Start your own company and pay above average wages to your drivers then. You’d have no shortage of people lined up to work for you. If you want paid more then do something that provides more value. OTR box trucking is basically entry level so the wages reflect that.

 

What you think your worth and what your actually worth are rarely the same figure. Having a CDL makes you skilled labor but having a CDL with endorsements, along with other capabilities makes you an asset.

 

Usually if I'm the only one who sees a problem, there's really not a problem.

What's the average age? It's 1 #, an average, not late 40's/50's. Where did you pull that #?
