On the top layer I would've put the 2 straps on the ends through the bottom of those trusses instead of over the top. If for some reason the bands break the straps through the inside will keep any from the middle walking out the ends.

I have some exciting news. After nearly 10 years of driving Freightliner trucks I am now in a Western Star. My only complaint with my job has been the trucks, and this definitely has me loving my job.
Tug Toy, ElmerFudpucker, INRUT and 14 others Thank this. -
Busy week so far. 3 stops in SE MI earlymonday morning
Took 2 antiques off and put a rebuilt antique back on.Went to Detroit to drop off another antique
Picked up another backhaul 25 miles closer to home.
Traded one for another and continued on
1 tarp. It never came all the way off of the trailer until Tuesday afternoon. Just kept pulling it forward or back.
To be continued... -

Having driven Cascadias in the past and now a 49X its way better. Unbelievably more quiet inside than my KW was.
If its a 1 off custom order it was built in either the NC or OR plants where FL/WS do the custom orders. Definitely built to a higher standard than the mass produced fleet spec trucks from the Mexico plant. -
No more yellow and black?

I have no experience, but it is cool that some trucks are still somewhat custom built. I have to admit, I like the looks of the new Western Stars compared to anything else.
