People who have bought from him often say the radios perform better right out of the box, especially on Stryker and other popular models.

The main things to keep in mind are the return policy and warranties. He doesn’t take returns on 10-meter radios, and other items have a 50% restocking fee. Warranty issues for U.S. radios go through the manufacturer, not him.

Have you heard of people having to return new radios I know a few people who are running these 955 V2 + and haven’t had any issues.

Some folks don’t have any problems, but it never hurts to know the return and warranty rules just in case something unusual pops up. Just sharing what I know.

i don't know about that . but that is one reason i wanted a radio set up by a compentent tech ..... to be sure it wasn't DOA from the box .... and also checking the alignment and setup for 11 meters . a DOA product can happen to any manufacturer/brand
