Furloughed

Cuz of this #### govt shutdown I’ve been out of work for 3 weeks. Had an interview with a heavy haul company said they’d keep me posted haven’t heard from them I left voicemail 2 days ago. Have an interview for dot foods 116 miles away from me. Long drive to do weekly. Bank accounts drying up fast lol.

 

Not really. I wasn’t over the road or anything like that. I worked on base. Worked for roads and grounds department so 90% of time I’ve been in a street sweeper. Sometimes flatbed or dump truck.

 

Worked 4 10s. I didn’t I slept most the day or played on my phone. Good benefits and a pension money will be good at end of contract in 2028. But super boring lol

 

Prob worked 2 hours a day for 90% the time. Lol

 

where do u work? lol ya I think got me gig so won’t be long till im back at work
