I own a 2016 Kenworth T660 (paid off fully)
I have over a year of CDL experience, however I am running into a problem. The main carriers I was interested in getting on with (Mercer and Landstar) won’t take me because my experience is only local/regional. Both of them, and CRST told me that I needed a year of true OTR experience.
my job I’ve had, is normally home daily 3 days a week, out over night for maybe 2, and home for 34 hour reset.
So what are my options? I don’t mind running, as long as I get the freedom to run as long as I want, and take off when I want.
Am I going to have to bite the bullet and go to Super Ego for a year? Any advice would be great! Don’t worry, I’m not in a financial bind, I have a good nest egg right now, and still at my company job.
Best Company to lease my truck onto for flatbed?

Where are you located?
A zip code would be just great....

The horror stories on TRR should be enough to make you stay away from super ego.
Don't know where you are located, but I was told that PGT used to be a good company. .Arctic_fox Thanks this. -

Oh trust me, I know. Only reason I even considered it, was because they were the only ones so far who would take me

I think Greatwide has a flatbed division.

Edit: I just looked it up, they do have a flatbed division.
Greatwide-TOL
