Tow truck brokers?

I’m guessing you have a for hire dot. I have never ran across this.But my guess would be look for partial shipments on load boards and call the broker listed and ask about it. I personally don’t believe the rates would make it worth while usually partial shipments are only worth while when you can match them with other freight

 

I’ve wondered about this myself. I’ve heard of Towing companies hiring contractors during extreme weather events. Mainly to provide jump starts. A similar gig is snow plowing. Plowing parking lots. Pay is good. Well over $100 hr. Both are weather dependent winter gigs. The problem I see is getting steady work.
