I'm reading your other thread and what you are suggesting is insane. I make about $1200 take home right now. I will be paying myself about $63k/year W2 for tax purposes. Do you know what that is per mile?
That's $0.42.
wait why am i breaking down numbers?
halfway through writing this I read the rest of your thread and you're absolutely a troll
if you aren't, you're going to light $200k on fire working for free because you thought you were smarter than you are and didn't want to do research, only wanted a confirmation of your (literally $0.30 per mile LOSS MINIMUM) "business model"
Some numbers for new O/O

It's quite outdated too. It is 6 years later.
Back then you could buy a well spec'd, brand new truck for $160k, today the same truck sells for $200k. A set of average drive tires bought at discount shops: Goodyears or Generals were $2700, today more like $3500-4000. In 2018; they would tow your truck 20 miles off the interstate for $750; today it's $1500. PM service at Speedco was $350; today it is closer to $500.
The problem is that the rates for a brokered freight they're paying today aren't that much better than they were back in 2018. -
I'm not an OO, but I've also noticed services have degraded as well. Is it only me? Speedco used to be great at service and I considered them a cheat code. Now, it's horrible lol.
