I own a 2016 Kenworth T660 (paid off fully)
I have over a year of CDL experience, however I am running into a problem. The main carriers I was interested in getting on with (Mercer and Landstar) won’t take me because my experience is only local/regional. Both of them, and CRST told me that I needed a year of true OTR experience.
my job I’ve had, is normally home daily 3 days a week, out over night for maybe 2, and home for 34 hour reset.
So what are my options? I don’t mind running, as long as I get the freedom to run as long as I want, and take off when I want.
Am I going to have to bite the bullet and go to Super Ego for a year? Any advice would be great! Don’t worry, I’m not in a financial bind, I have a good nest egg right now, and still at my company job.
Best company to lease my truck out to for flatbed

You don't say where you are located (a zip code would be just fine).
Tough to make decent recommendations....if we don't know on which planet you reside.

As said earlier where you live would help. But me personally I wouldn’t lease a truck to Mercer ,Landstar or crst even if they would have taken you.

Think smart, not hard..
Stop telling them you were a local/regional driver.
You were OTR for a little over a year
