Truck driving school is mad about English proficiency tests

If you can't speak English you can't read it to be safe on the highway..... getting by.with clean driving just means they got lucky or probably had a translator..
Which again to hold a CDL you must be able to read and speak English......

 

Putting safe, compliant drivers on the road doesn't earn these clowns money.

 

You have to laugh at these idiots especially the media… They call this group of drivers the backbone of the industry LMAO

This is unfair. That's why I will protest by not going to India and driving a truck until I can read Hindi !

 

ELP has been a prerequisite for getting a CDL for more than two decades. ELDT has required 'schooling' from an 'approved provider'. Where is the push to rescind certification from these 'schools'?

Oh wait, I forgot this whole ELP push is just performative BS designed to placate/enrage the base and distract everyone else.

 

These schools with the drivers like those involved in the famous recent crashes are in CA, the Central Valley. They are run by someone's cousin formerly from Punjab India and also partial owner of the Indian trucking company Haji is going to work for. The "class" is pencil-whipped tests and a $100 to the state examiner, if they don't have 3rd party testing by the same school. CA and NY and other blue states made a huge push to make life easy for brand new immigrants without paperwork and now those "drivers" are falling asleep behind the wheel while drunk and with an ELD edited overseas ad self-certified by the overseas ELD provider.
