I live outside the area. It is a nice upper middle class to rich area for the most part. But does have some #### areas as well but nice place overall. College area as well.

I live in the area North of KCMO. I know the area and you will have to get a ramp or chain pull the trailers out if it is a 53' dry van. The trucks can get in the area but not gonna back into a dock. They will all need to back in and can pull into the lot across the road to make it easier to back into. Will have no problems going out.

Because Hipsters are the ones that move into areas that were generally commercial and industrial during a “rejuvenation” project and then put up the no trucks signs, no idling signs, no parking signs, want bike lanes and scooters, and basically call the popo anytime a big dirty ugly diesel truck is in their new entitled space. Sorry you are offended for my humorous question i had asked. Lol.

I wouldn’t want to try and get a highway truck in here.

I was just curious if it was just that particular area that wasn’t truck friendly and hipster. The areas nearby and where I live were built before trucks got the size we are now. If I were looking for a warehouse I wouldn’t locate it nearby but would want it as close to the folks spending the money as affordable especially if it had a retail counter up front.

You definitely didn’t offend me especially after 38 years driving and owning one of those big ugly diesel trucks. I have corrected and offended folks exactly like you referred to with likely the same sentiments as you. In my particular case they moved in to a section of town called Butcher Town. They later gripe about the odor from the Swift Plant next door. I told them they were butchering animals there 100 years before they moved in so get over it or move out.

I was looking for clarification on if it was the entire town you didn’t like or that particular neighborhood because of difficulties delivering there.

A good driver could, and as someone mentioned, would not be happy about it.

It’ll be rodeo for any less than experienced driver.

You could deal with it for a once or twice a year deal, but for day to day operations with over the road semi trucks, this is not the right spot.

We had a customer in a similar place for years and we always made sure to deliver after hours and to have a pallet jack on the trailer.

It is in a good area and not to bad for trucks. Just not gonna pull a semi in and back into the docks in that building. You would like the area I think. Nice place for the most part.

Pallet jack and fork lift, bring freight to back, pull it off, get an electric jack if you really want to be fancy.
