    That’s a little sad.
There are (seemingly) so few of those ole Star Cars that get saved.

Correct. Problem is, somehow during the buyout, Freightliner “lost” almost all the info for those trucks. Getting something as simple as a door latch was a nightmare.

I texted Wore Out a video the other day of my 1961 International Harvester B160 truck. It had set for 11 years in a shed untouched. Drained all the old gas out and cleared the lines, filed the points with a points file then drug a $1 bill through the points a few times. Added new gas in the tank and poured some down the carb to saturate the intake and it fired up like it had been drove last week…..

There’s an awful lot of truth to the old saying, “If they’ll rotate, they’ll run.”

I need a part time helper for a couple months. We have 110 trailers and 45 trucks to do annual inspections on……least I’m sure of what I’m gonna do daily

Shoulda dressed the plugs with the side emery board off a penny box of matches. Checked gap and shined.
Was the $1 swipe on the points for wiping out or a tight .018 setting. Want to recall .016 on points and .030 on plugs will crank any IH.
