I'm working on a 500 HP stock engine x15 cm2350 Efficiency series. I been studying Rawze advice. I wanted to know if it's good idea to set liner protrustion at .014" with APR(Anti Polish rings) liner on x15s. Book recommends .007-.012.

I had little side counter bore erosion on number one. Cummins says disregaurd. That liner was set at .09 from cummins and engine was 570k.

    Thanks for any advice.

Old spec was 7-14. It changed to 12 couple years ago. Ive cut them to 14 and to 12. More important that its all flat and the same. When you say side do you mean at the top of the block on the side? That does not matter. Just the lower counterbore surface matters.
