Unfortunately the death toll has increased.
18 people are now confirmed dead, including all 3 crew members aboard the plane. At least 16 people are still missing.

 

Specs on an MD-11 state that its maximum fuel capacity is 38,615 gallons,or 258,721 pounds.
Remember that this flight was just about fully laden for a 8-8 1/2 hour flight plus reserves in case of a diversion.

I would like to see the manifest as far as the calculated weight and balance,along with the performance figures (V1,Vr,Vef,etc.) that were calculated by the dispatch.
