I'm not the one foolishly seeking answers to questions that you could, with a slight effort, find on your own. BTW your ### is showing.

If you would take the time to really start to narrow your question(s) down to be as specific as possible you might get some valid answers. For instance, are you operating a box, flat, reefer, do OD? What areas of the country do you want to try to operate? Are you running strictly off load boards? The more information you are willing to give usually gets better answers. Good luck.

If you're an owner op it's now sink or swim. You are competition to the other owner op parked next to you. If you stay above water great, you've made good business decisions, if you sink, that's on you as well, and 1 less truck is better for the rest of us. Coke doesn't share secrets with Pepsi, neither McDonald's and Burger King.

I would stay away from anyone not paying above the national average, and pursue one's who do.

Im sure everyone here will be happy to share information on anything to help you out, except for whos buttering their bread. Thats the leg work part

One cheap shipper and pretty nasty to that is UTZ Quality foods in Hanover, PA
They cheap because anything out of PA on a dry van is cheap and nasty because they think they can keep you attached to the dock for 10-12 hours with no remorse at the end.
That's one example of a cheap shipper and not trucker's friendly from my own experience.
I would stay away from them.
