The beacon in Portland has the rudest kids working in it. Seems to be a trend with them and having rude employees. They also do about a 2 minute wash on a full fuel truck and trailer

Wow! I would had recorder everything on video and hope they stand on what they said. I would hire a lawyer and go after them for this BS. No way in hell would I let this one go. I am sure they have been sued before over this stuff and settled out of court.broke down plumber Thanks this.

He will need to get a lawyer involved quick to request video. I bet it gets over written within 30 days.broke down plumber and Long FLD Thank this.

They should not even be touching the hood on a customer's truck without permission, which is part of the reason I tend to avoid those joints. I don't want those idiots touching anything or getting near delicate stuff with high pressure water.

Oh im not, but its a process now. Likely be months before its settled because they WILL dig in and hope i drop it. In the meantime everything is working and it was a $500 fix. So im going to keep rolling and if the ECM fails well i will cross the bridge when i get there. In the meantime im going to get corperates response and go from there.broke down plumber, 77fib77, Speedy356 and 1 other person Thank this.

Hopefully you get lucky and it soldiers on fine after drying out. And another lesson learned about letting bozos near your truck
Siinman Thanks this. -
That was not too bad at least on price to get it up and running again. Hopefully it doesn't crap out on you and nothing else comes of it.broke down plumber Thanks this.

can an MX13 be turned up from the stock 455/1650 rating or does that require changing hard parts?
-
Hard parts. The transmissions usually need an upgrade to handle the jump from 1650 to 1850 or even 2050 torque. A lot of the guts need changing. It likely will need a bigger radator and more. Its really not worth it.broke down plumber, RushmoreTrucker and 77fib77 Thank this.
