So my document holder leaked. That paper was water soaked. No big deal I throwed it in the microwave. 3 minutes was way too much. Who knew?

My pickup truck sits all the time. So the battery gets down from not getting driven. I figured I would try this solar powered trickle charger out. This one is a Powoxi 15 watt.
I've got it sitting on the windshield since the windshield is tinted. It comes with ring terminals, alligator clips which I am using, and a cigarette plug to charge if the plug is hot all the time. It also has four suction cups to attach to a window.
This one was on sale on Amazon for $30, it comes with a controller attached so it won't overcharge and goes to float when it's done charging.
They have all different sizes and wattage, and some are cheaper. I think i will get one for dad for an early Christmas since winter is coming and his truck sits for a week and only runs about 20 mins on his drive to work. Keep it topped off so it always cranks.
I will post an update this evening to see how it's done so far.BoostedTeg, Cowpuncher575, Gatordude and 14 others Thank this.
