That was probably a wise decision, unless I misunderstand the pictures and you wanted the grass area filled with concete, because those stakes are otherwise on the wrong side. :)
I hear you about hiring someone, but I got lucky this year, and found out there's a smaller mix hauler. MiniMix are smaller than the big guys, but not by much, and I don't know what their minimum is, but I was looking to do further up in the yard, so wanted a smaller truck that won't tear down the phone/cable lines, and found this place, MicroMix that was willing to bring smaller loads, like a 1/2 yard up to 4. Perfect for me to be able to do the job in pieces and had the spring and summer, been less humid this year, I might have started getting more done sooner so I can do the job by pouring in 1-2 yards at a time. All the work is in the breaking and removal. I'll take pouring over breakout any day. :)

This is the size truck this company has, small enough for a (next year) 70 year old to handle by himself...with several days of recovery afterward. :)

Funny you should ask. I still have my first rebuild, a Carter YFA single barrel carburetor from my first car, a '72 Ford Maverick Inline 6 Cyl 3 on the tree. Why? Because mom made me a deal to get rid of my project car out of the drive in exchange for her running Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a Rocket 350 and some cash. She was getting a new car. So...I kept the carburetor, and had the Bondo repaired carcass hauled off. :)

I can’t condone what McLane did, but whoever’s filming is a road rage incident waiting to happen. Notice he had no problem flooring it as soon as he got passed like a typical no-driving lowlife.

Don’t know, it’s 55 mph on route 2 and I’m pretty sure the building beside the road is close to Rust Oleum in Green Bottom, WV. That’s a nice straight stretch through there, had the old Shovel rolling 110 through there years ago….

My cousin who works for Peterbilt in NC who gave me the hats for @wore out and I came up to race the local asphalt track yesterday, needed a place to park for the night since there wasn’t room at his moms place. Told me the car use to belong to some nascsr guy but i can’t remember his name. Cousin usually races in road racing in a Miata….
