Hmm. President said economy is blooming and everyone is getting a check in the mail because we’re making so much money from tariffs. You’re telling me he lied again?

 

Pepsi has shut down quite a few locations in the past few years. Talked to a guy who worked in Chicago location for 30 years. He had to transfer to another branch which was quite a drive for him every day. Seemed like they had decent benefits and pay for folks who worked there for a while.

Nobody wants to pay $5 for a bag of chips. Colas are crazy expensive too.

 

People are becoming more ‘health conscious’ especially on what they eat, and drink. I will admit, I will occasionally have a soda, maybe 1 per week. Nothing like years ago, I would have a couple every day. As for chips and such, also it’s just occasionally, if I do get a desire, it’s either Pringles ‘Low Salt’ or some unsalted pretzels.
