I learned long ago to always use my American Express when buying online or making reservations. Twice I've been scammed with online purchases and AE took care of it . Once I had received my purchase and it was junk in a box , not even close to being the product I ordered. I call to return it, was told to ship it back then they'd return my money. I took pictures of the box , the shipping label from UPS . The company said they never got it , I sent photos to AE , they tracked it, said it was received. Got my money back and AE said in the future nobody will be buying from this company thru AE.

Quick connect was not mentioned on our initial phone call, and you would think a guy who exports for all these years would have a better calculation of things. He never even mentioned the quick connect, no pictures just a text with weight which I double checked on the interweb. Once I seen it I was oh ####…! And the scale confirmed it. I was for a while making customers send me a picture, guess I need to go back to that….

 

Between those three it’s probably close to 3k extra weight over standard.

 

Anyone here have a personal reference for a mover? Have a small amount of estate junk that I need to relocate to the other end of the country. Have prices for PODS, wondered if a mover would be an option
