I started in 2018 went to CDL school driving manual then did 4 months in a ten speed with starter company and that was enough for me. Automated manual is simply better for OTR.

 

Has NO money for second drug test (raising a family). HAS money to hire lawyer? I am easily confused

 

Thinks some lawyer will pick up his case on contingency because he sees it a major miscarriage of justice and big bucks will have to be paid out by the company. Not happening.

 

Apparently your finances are the problem here if you're broke but have a family???

Well good thing I do have manual experience when I started in 2012.....Autos were pretty rare back then and majority fleets were manual.....I had a prostar with that terrible ultra shift auto....

That’s crazy. I’ve been taking metformin for years (borderline diabetic,meds are fully disclosed and I check myself and with my physician to make sure that any medication I’m given isn’t on the FMCSA prohibited list). Every drug screen I’ve been given (both annual and random) I’ve passed with flying colors. Sounds more like some companies are using hair follicle testing as a shortcut or cheap method to do drug screening.
