Yeah, they wanted me to scale a 6000lb load. I chuckled at them and scooted down the road. They never said a thing about it. That’s part of that training company mentality that I was writing about earlier. Where they feel it’s necessary to instruct a driver on every tiny aspect of the job. Most of it is automated, so you just roll your eyes and move on. But some of it gets a little overbearing. They do make good reminders for a new driver though.

I am getting annoyed of running recaps. Pretty been doing stuff since October 30th.

I’ve maybe ran a total of 1000 miles since last Friday. I had like 6 hours on my 70 then. I’m up to 32 now. I go home tomorrow, and won’t be coming back if I can at all help it. I’ve never seen a company sit their drivers as much as Barr Nunn does.

I'm actually thinking about leaving Barr-Nunn. Because the amount of night driving I don't see going well in the long term. Recruiters email saying 40% was a lie since nearly all of my pickups are around midnight

Considering the phone call and message we got yesterday, I don't think we're the only ones ready to leave. They were practically begging people not to quit.

Oh I ignored that message. No one called me either. Because I don't see why I should

So gotten a message claiming too much idling. It's not my fault optimized idle loves to run for a hour or so. I don't want to wake up to a truck with a dead battery

Yes. I idle my truck 24/7.

One thing I find partly funny about the message. It starts out saying that. Then it says about how the truck is getting around 8.1 mpg.
