Start of the new manure pit. 210 yards today, my tail is dragging a bit. Glad it wasn’t 90* and humid! IMG_4004.jpeg IMG_4008.jpeg

That type facility; just below West Point/Walmart area, was known as Truman Creek in the day after Truman was Pres. Actually, the first road to the right there now is officially signed Truman Creek Rd.

IMG_0580.jpeg IMG_0579.jpeg Alright boys I need some assistance! I went to open the hood last week on my '84 359 and the driver's side hood hinge broke. So I ordered the whole kit plus new springs from Dirks. Got them put into today but the hood will only shut half way and hits a hard stop. 1) How do you adjust the hood? 2) Did I do something wrong that would make it not shut?

Have you got the bushing and bolt through the middle hole of this piece?

this is how you set the forward and back. With the new hinge this may need leaned forward to give hood room in the rear.

I’m not good at explaining this part

Yes sir it's attached with the top hole to the frame and the hood hinge and bushing is in the middle hole.

The bolt that comes from inside the tow hook pocket, and goes through the lower slot, and into the threaded “donut”, on the part that @wore out referenced. Is that bolt flush with the “donut”, or sticking through?
If it’s too long and sticking through, the square pice that the pivot bolt goes through can hang on it, and will only allow the hood to shut about half way.
