Worked for me as well. Got in at 5am after a long night and there was a backup on our scale(2 LIN bays), which was extremely unusual, one of our guys and a US Cryo. No biggie, waited my turn. Hour and a half later I finally pulled on to load, Then an Airgas guy showed up. They have to have someone log them through the computer and I was the only one available, so I stayed to help him stay and finish, Then a central welding showed up, then ANOTHER Airgas. It was 0930 when I finally logged off. I'm not going to whine about getting paid to sit in a chair and BS. It was nice getting to talk to the Airgas guys. They were very polite and were both out of the McMinnville location, where I had applied to work, when I applied at Linde again, since Linde was taking half a year. We had some good conversations. Other than equipment issues, and tank issues, there isnt much to complain about cryo itself and I've always liked that. I whine about other drivers, equipment and management, but the job itself? I wish I had found it 20 years ago. I love Hauling Milk more than anything, and it has its pluses, but pay and not being physical isnt one of them. Cryo has allowed me the opportunity to better my life more than any other niche and I'm grateful.

No Matheson does that probably 1-2 times a week. They would send me to empty tanks.viper822004 Thanks this.

Such a dangerous chemical and not the first time its happened. You can youtube a few accidents and see it happens more often with Ammonia

I think this is going to make all hotels re-evaluate letting trucks, especially placarded trucks, park in their lots. You can be sure the lawsuits will be many and large on this one. I hope it doesn't end up messing with you Cyro haulers too much.FullMetalJacket, scythe08, Dennixx and 3 others Thank this.

That will suck big time. Didn't realize it was at a hotel. I always make it a habit to let the hotel know what I am hauling.
