Taking another swing at it

I was poking the bear to see if anyone overreacted

 

I’ll probably stick around for my year. If anything I get some vision and dental coverage after January 1st. And the company contribution a health savings account is nice. Basically free money for health related expenses

 

I am counting the days til OTR though. To be honest, unless I’m home daily, the hurry up and wait to do overnight driving sucks. I also learned having a mid roof tractor really limits storage and space.

 

If I find one up north worth taking, I’ll let you know. You’d think my road commission would look for plows but they aren’t, only neighboring counties. 40 mile commute and you have to be able to be on call and in within 30 minutes for overtime or emergency plowing

 

I set an alarm tonight so I could listen to/watch the stream of critical role. Then I realized it’s only Wednesday. Streams are Thursday. I’m tired

 

Happy thanksgiving everyone. I made it home from the gale force of Lake Erie in Cleveland.

 

Winter is here. Snow is too deep for the snowblower. It’s going to be a long day
