But yesterday, disaster struck. Can you imagine - my saved PDFs had stopped opening. A friend I work with suggested converting them to another format. I tried a free online tool pdffly.com/jpg-to-pdf of which, as I understand, there are plenty. It turned out to be really simple, and it only took me about an hour to fix the situation. Maybe this will help someone. As for me, I still need to figure out what exactly the problem is and why it happened.
