That is pretty shocking! I went to a small private cdl school. The owner/teacher beat into us the following “you are the driver, you say whether it goes or not. Company will always want the truck to move, they aren’t driving it! You are responsible, you will be ticketed, have the accident or injure people or yourself.” He’s a good egg. Always stressed being professional. I f you were late, go home, try harder to be on time tomorrow. Those operators are supposed to be the last line of defence. It seems like the ones that had violations had lots of them on the vehicles.

eye opening to say the least

Not surprising for Texas…. Bunch of rednecks and no habla engles who run their stuff into the ground just like the Cali Punjabis.

The whole Covidiocy mass hysteria led to minimal enforcement. No enforcement led to the current free-for-all.

I don't understand why anyone is surprised? As you sow, you shall reap.....

They do same thing in Chicago and Indiana, it’s random pop up inspection sites, probably same thing outcome. Chicago has white Volvo mafia, and Texas has the outlaw rednecks

I had a receiver about 5 miles from my house, so I park the truck near or at the Lowes nearby. I've had several times that Skokie's finest and ISP have set up jump scales on Touhy either at Lowes or near the receiver. But it's alway on the side going back empty. So I sat in line for the scales, but they were after smaller fish to fry! They were inspecting small bobtails that day and they told me to get out of there and stop wasting their time.

I primary drive in the state of Texas, I've been thru more scales with truck inspections going on 2025 than the last 5 years combined.
