This exact thing happened to me. Almost to a T, starting with the credit score; except mine was 845 and has been for some years 800+... BMO for business denied an increase on the credit limit for my particular situation. Frustrating.... But you have shed some light on the matter. The representative was helpful and he tried to help, but in the end i was left feeling that the reason for denying my credit increase application was due to the tariffs. Didn't make that connection between the bankruptcies....

Unfortunately All these clowns out there like pride and these guys not paying their debts is hurting you because they don’t want to take the risk of raising your limit then you get yourself into a situation where you can’t/don’t pay it back . You also have the fact that the industry is in the toilet right now , very slow in a lot of sectors so i understand why banks don’t want to give out more business credit

    BigHossVolvo and NorthEastTrucker Thank this.

Who doesn’t want to work 70 hours a week for minimum wage. We never had it so good. Lol. It’s sad what this industry has become.

Any one young enough should get out now if they can. We are at the point of no return. I'm fortunate enough to work somewhere that still pays good and the newcomers will have a difficult time taking over.

Lots of company drivers apparently want to work 70 hrs plus for minimum wage. Lucky for them they can't do math so they just keep on driving for pennys.

Doesn't have anything to do with Nationality or culture.

I like the ads on facebook when they post a picture of a nice pete or kw that you know they don’t even own trying to trick idiots into contacting them thinking they’re going to be driving a nice rig . Meanwhile it’s some ragged out freightliner or volvo . lol
