I saw something about YouTube. Almost every YouTuber I’ve ever seen post on TTR is some idiot who thinks his way is best. That doesn’t work.
For example, every year there’s a thread on winter driving. tire chains and mountain driving. Driving through a blizzard in Indiana isn’t the same as driving through a blizzard in Montana. Therefore, what works best in Indiana will not necessarily be what’s best in Montana. What works on the big road isn’t the best for the 2 lane. But you will have a person who runs a specific area, a specific road, a specific tire, a specific way of securing a load, giving out his “best” advice. When you disagree what’s best, he and his fanboys go on the attack.tscottme, Carpenter Scotty and TurkeyCreekJackJohnson Thank this. -
Yeah, I tend to stay away from all of that and rely on what I learn from experience. Sometimes I learn from other drivers. Other times it's trial and error. You're definitely right, though. Trucking is so scenario based its crazy. Even something like tires on a truck could impact winter driving in certain parts of the country/continent.
