I find them to be very dependable as well. I hope they take your idea and go with the 660s in the future. I'm a Volvo or Mack type of guy when it comes to preference of trucks. If it ends up being Freightliners in the future, I'll adjust. Maybe they should get your company and take a look at the Mack Anthems.

That would be interesting, those anthems seem pretty nicePeace_Maker Thanks this.

These macks are decent. Same bunk size as your 760 with more storage as far as cabinets. It doesn't have the double bunk. They won't be making the anthem anymore though. They're making Mack Pioneers that look identical to the Volvo. Next you See Mr Tim, you tell him ol professor said to check out the Volvo 660 or the Mack pioneer in a midroof.Knucklehead Thanks this.

2025 was the last year for Anthem. They started making pioneers that look just like the Volvo.

That’s an interesting shift on their equipment mix. A lot of carriers are leaning heavier into dry van right now because Q4 reefer capacity gets tight and the maintenance costs spike.
Kansas/Colorado dairy/feed runs are a solid move though — those ag lanes stay consistent even when retail softens. If they keep you in that CO/KS/NE triangle, your reload options should stay pretty steady, especially heading back toward Wichita, KC or Omaha.
Curious if they plan to keep flatbed/tanker in rotation at all, or if it’s mainly van + reefer going into 2024Greasy74 Thanks this. -
I pull a hopper bottom and I don't stay in that loop. I run wherever the freight takes us. Go home to Texas usually every 3 weeks.

Came on back home. Dropped trailer at shop for a couple minor fixes. Staying home till Sunday. Probably pick up trailer on Friday. Gotta go get washed out Sunday and head over to Louisiana an stage for 1st thing loading on Monday. Gotta deliver at 10 AM Tuesday in Eden NC. I'm expecting three slow weeks coming up as I gotta be back dec 10 for some stuff. Then Christmas an new years. I saved up for it plus got year end bonus and vacation pay coming yet.bryan21384 and Friend Thank this.
