    The good reason he had for hitting that car was that he was shoving summer sausage in his mouth. He just forgot to say it. I took one look at him, and imagined he was going down the road eating the summer sausage by the pound.

    Mmmm, summer sausage, my favorite, but this is pretty bad, I'm by no means condoning this, but let's face it, it's dark, and we've ALL drifted over the line, this guy just happened to do that at a bad time. A number of possibilities, 1st and foremost, nodded off, or distracted by your stupid phones, or yes, perhaps the summer sausage fell on the floor, but I don't think this guy is an idiot, just a colossal screw up.
