Access to e-log is a new one. Never had to do that. One more reason for me to hang it up

Already have discussed with my ELD provider and I can "split" the account into different depots. I can put the trucks that run just load board freight in one depot and the rest in another. Refuse to give access to all our customer locations.

Only had a couple of newer brokers that wouldn't override the ELD provision.

I was looking into a broker load some time back. They sent a thing from highway to fill out, seen the option to opt out of the elog junk which required proof I didn’t have an elog. Copy of the title to the truck, copy of the registration, copy of my drivers license, copy of the insurance listing the truck.

My Kenworth being a glider from the 90’s with less than 17 digits in the serial number had them scratching their heads…..

short cut is never a good way to do business. usually those are the people who F up this industry. they think , it is a lots of money in this industry, so, in order for them to make money they start doing shady business.

I need to get mine reactivated and run a while. I’ll gladly sell it for whatever I can get. $30k?? That would be great. Another $30k for the Truck. I could pay my house off, collect SS early and work part time.

I swear I'd be asking 100K for my clean numbers the way some of these people are so eager to pull freight under $2 a mile.

Well, there is nothing could be done about selling it but there is a workaround.
