@wore out How big is your house in sq feet?

Love the paneling on the walls. I wish I could find one like that.

The tears of the offended crying about how “out of date” that look is would cure just about any drought. :biggrin_25523:

2800 square feet. The original part was built in 1970 or so. Then it was added on to in 1980 or so. It has that paneling throughout, she loves it. I just live in the long as she’s happy I have peace camp.

Do you manual maneuver that or have you got some sort of machine to help?

So funny thing about my Sunday. I got called to the local fuel stop in Newport for a no start, missing radiator cap and low coolant. I get him boosted, put him a new radiator cap on and a gallon of coolant. Lil feller says tank you buddy. I say hold on that’s 200 on the bill. He comes unglued says I’m putting the screws in him. The cap was 45 dollars from Peterbilt. I keep it and a tank. The coolant was 15 bucks so that’s 140 on a service call and jump start. I’m just curious did I rob him? Cuz I made his sandel wearing stinkin ### pay me before I’d move my ol Ford

Sometimes I have to wonder at what point does it get too cold for people… if one chooses to call them that… to run around in public like they just got out of bed.

We charge a 2hr minimum and anything outside 20 miles is $1 a mile round trip.
We have enough fleet work that we don’t need to run road calls.
I don’t know if you take credit cards, but it’s too easy for them to dispute the charges.

They're your best buddy, until it's time to settle their bill, then you're committing highway robbery. He got fixed up for a reasonable price. I wouldn't have moved either.

I don’t it’s EFS, Comcheck or cash. Course if it’s one my regular guys I just tell em drop a check by later. I also have mobile deposit so I have a lot of guys pay that way. On my road calls I don’t do that for nothing other than I was an Owner Operator a long time and know what it’s like. I only leave my number at a couple local places. I also ain’t going on side of the road. I’ll meet the wrecker there and help keep the traffic off him but we’re taking it to a parking lot at minimum. I’m too old to get banged up now or not finish the race.

I don’t mean this part to sound ethnic biased but the guys from the Middle East are 1 of 2 ways extremely grateful or extremely difficult. 95 percent of the time difficult.
