Mighta just been someone who wasn't quite ready for the barrage of Christmas music that started Friday ....... although some places started earlier.

 

You must remember that these university athletic programs aren't using university money for salaries, rather they are self-supporting and the 2 revenue sports, basketball & football, also cover all the other sports like golf, track, soccer, etc. And the insane buyouts these coaches have built into their contracts when they get fired are covered by wealthy donors, usually the same ones pressuring the AD to pull the plug.

 

Changing the subject a bit, but can anyone tell me why we're pissed off at Venusela?

I like think that I'm fairly intelligent and informed, but I don't get it.

Drugs, sure, but if that were the sole reason, we would have bommed the **** out of Mexico years ago.

I just don't get it.
