This store they been showing looks like it have anything and everything a person could ever use. Stuff most hardware stores today would have no idea what it is.

Obviously more than hardware if Elvis got his first guitar there. It bout have be Tupelo Mississippi

Yes it is. They had set up an ACE Hardware out on the McCullough Blvd two years ago and were shifting volume over.
    Google this for some
Yeah.. Think Tourat and Visitors Bureau may be reserving some square footage from whoever becomes
    new building owner for posterity...

You don’t see stores like that much anymore. Kinda a shame

Need a collar and a set of hames, canvas backband, and a pair of trace chains... Come on..
Best bring the mule tho, size selection on collars may be limited.

    Added..
Nearest thing I have ever seen, like it was Taylorsville Hardware, Taylorsville, KY. And it was sold few years ago a turned into an ACE
It even had the tin piece with the 4 spikes to put on the calf's nose to prevent his sucking the cow. Primitive, but effective.

that little red bull I went and got is for the freezer. The other 28 are growing our operation. That little Angus bull we’re gonna use. The rest are heavy bred and should start calving any day

Us old men say that. Since I got you, I remember running cattle from Macon MS, up US45 to Henderson, TN, across TN100 to Nashville, up US 31W to E'town. KY60 across to Bardstown, then down KY52 to Lancaster...Some bridge repair then and we cut across a worse road to get on US 27? and down to Paint, Lick... This in 56/57 and the only/best way known to get there. Two L190 IH with 34 trailers and a 470 GMC with 30' single axle.'
    ADDED...
We must have went from Hyattsville over to Kirksville and come down for the detour.
Question. Have you been on any of the roads way back to know how they were.
I know the stretch from Paint Lick back to Lancaster is new, as I drove down from Lex to see the old place. Man there said he was 62 and never a sale barn there. Think I told him I had unloaded there 16 years before he was born as I was 78 then.
