As turkeycreek said, always keep a hard copy with you at all times.
I never have faith in the digital world.

I'm retired now but I worked local in California and once found out the DMV had never received my DOT physical from my company. So from that day forward, I always took my paperwork directly to the DMV and got a receipt for it. I also made two additional copies. I kept one in the truck and one in my pickup as proof. I still have my license and TWIC card. Unfortunately, I have to pay for it myself now.

For my mental wellbeing, I have to take it to the DMV myself, I have to talk to the counter clerk, I have to see them update it, I have hear them tell me that everything has been updated.

Had my license suspended 25 years ago. Got an overweight ticket. Company said they would pay for it and they didn’t. Apparently someone “forgot.”9 months down the line, I have zero driving privileges. Bumming rides to the court to pay fines, bumming rides to the state capital, had to retake the written part of the Class A and every endorsement. Good thing about was that I was only 150 miles from the house.

What happened to Self Certification? Required in Michigan. Can be done in person or on line. Has this changed? Med Examiner required to do the Certification with the State?

    Contact your doctor'
s office and have them IMMEDIATELY resubmit your DOT exam to the state using whatever the new procedure is now. That procedure changed earlier this year from the one that was in place for years to something else. I don't know that procedure, but it must be followed exactly. That's the quickest way to clear this up, if you can get the doctor's office staff motivated and if you can get the state's Dept of Motor Vehicle's staff motivated. The INSTANT the state is notified your DOT card is good, you are legal to drive.

The regulation changed earlier this year, or was it last summer? Anyway, the doctor's office now has to submit directly to the state and the driver does not submit to the state, like was normal over last few years.

This idiot get's shut down in Arkansas because his CDL has been revoked, and you guys are trying to help him on this forum?

This is a trucking forum, and yet, multiple accounts here try and help the driver

when he clearly states he is out of compliance with medical card issues.

But if we talk about deleting emissions motors it's instant banning

This is why you pull an MVR every now and then. Especially acouple months after a dot physical. You can do it online in most states on your cell phone. $12 can save you a lot pain.
