Mola Transportation LLC (owned by Jacob) currently owes us $13,254.00. They used our services for two months and sent settlement sheets as if payments were being deposited, but no funds were ever sent to our bank account.
Last week, our truck and trailer broke down. We had them towed to a mechanic, and the repair bill came to $14,289 for parts and labor. When we attempted to pay the mechanic, we discovered that Mola had not been sending any of the payments owed to us.
We contacted Jacob (owner) and Sam (dispatcher) to inform them of the breakdown and requested the money owed so we could pay the mechanic, and deliver the load. Jacob responded by saying he liked his “free services” and refused to send any payment.
As a result, we lost our truck and trailer to the mechanic due to non-payment, and Mola lost the load for the same reason. A FreightGuard report has been filed on Mola Transportation. If anyone else has experienced similar issues with Mola Transportation LLC or Jacob, feel free to contact me.
