No CDL, No Medical, No insurance. CA company ???

"This dangerous illegal alien has a criminal history including multiple DUIs, possessing a controlled substance, and two prior removals from the U.S. He was a walking public safety threat and illegally was driving a massive 18-wheeler when he caused a six-car pile-up involving a school bus on the highway in Washington" from the article.

WA, OR, and CA will not hold detainee for ICE should not be new news.

Couple other issues that bother me.

Trucking company has not been identified as far as I know?

The truck was released just hours after the wreck to a "driver with a CDL." So how does a company that has problems getting a CDL driver in their home state of California, just so happen to have a CDL driver available in the area of WA state where getting anywhere on I-5 in just a couple hours at that time of day is almost impossible?

It is like a legit CDL driver was waiting to pick-up this truck. In all other instances that truck would be towed and impounded. But of all good luck, the company had only a non-CDL driver in CA but a CDL driver right there to pick it up and take possession of truck and all it's cargo. Amazing!

It is like they had some cargo, other than cars on the truck, and just needed that moved by any driver, and relied on a real auto-hauler to just unload the cars at the destination?

I don't know, but there has been an awful lot of drug busts involving Mexicans and trucks in this state.
