39 Blowovers In Wyoming In One Week

Did that route for literally years. Every year multiple morons ignored all the signs and ended up on their side. Wonder how many couldnt read english and thus drove past with zero flying ####s given?

Went through WY 2 days ago. Wind was no joke. They had a ban on high profile vehicles under 60k lb. Had to pull over to fix a tarp since bungee ripped. Almost landed on my ### from wind gust.

 

Job security, eh?

 

Actually crashes are less than 1% of the business. So it really doesn't matter. But as an operator it's the most fun.

 

Seems like it could just blow over again in the same spot the way the wind was blowing.

 

They have i80 shutdown to light high profile vehicles today too.. i’ve got 9200 pounds on and I’m waiting for my company to give me the green light as long as the customer is willing to pay the extra miles to run 76 over to 70 back to US six back up 15 to 84

 

We block the wind with our rotator. We still wait until it stays under 60mph for 30 mins. We will drag them off the road and leave them until later
