Since modern cattle don't, then I can see why the trailer is so clean and does not have 8 inches of pine shavings. Be hard to scoop out tho, with all then cross pieces in the floor. Miss a fruit backhaul out of FL.

Grass fed will wreck a trailer in minutes. Another common practice is right before selling they really fill them up on a hot feed that makes them want water. The first 30 miles are the worst.

 

We penning after sale over to haul out that nite or next AM, pen with a hay rack, no salt block or water trough..
Barn bought stock and going to the packing house there in town ???
