Glad you avoided any damage, never seen a tire exit the rim like that before. The one time I had a steer tire blowout it stayed on the rim and shredded the airline, but roadside breakdown was able to fix that easy enough.
Things are a bit slower for me. Haven't been to Canada in a while which has slashed the pay, but I am still riding it out.
I don't think the other food grade guys like Oakley are going to be much different. I would probably try chemicals if I wanted to make a move as dairy loads are a huge time waster.

Still plugging along here. Of course I was voluntold to take one of these trade in trucks down to Florida via an Alabama load from Littlefield. They were pretty good about getting me back to the Clovis running area within the scope of a week though when I did it the last time.
In the middle of trying to relocate out of NM and over to TX or KS. Work is still piling on. It's like no one wants me to leave Turquoise Land.Speed_Drums, Friend, Redtwin and 3 others Thank this. -
I guess we are getting inward facing cameras on the new trucks that’s a bummer.
Friend and bentstrider83 Thank this. -
I mean if the cameras were only used for "no cell phone" policies, I could understand that. But other accounts tell me that they also track health issues. Like eye drift and signs of sleep issues. Nothing like a job in the balance of an AI camera.
Of course it seems every profession and job is bound to some sort of surveillance. Imagine having to bounce from job to job all because a camera flagged you for some performance issues. -
I haven’t heard anything about it. I visited with a driver at the consignee in Sulphur Springs last week. He was in a 107 series truck that only had 6,000 miles on it. He never mentioned anything about a driver-facing camera in his.Lonesome and bentstrider83 Thank this.

I heard rumours about driver facing cameras back in 2019. There is that system linked to the auto braking that supposedly is setup for a driver facing camera. But I never heard anything official mentioned by safety.
More to keep us on our toes.nextgentrucker Thanks this. -

####... Feels like I haven't been here since forever, a lot has happened, glad some of you guys are still rolling.

It was on tanker mafia and I inquired was told yes they will be in the new trucks
bentstrider83 and Lonesome Thank this. -
Less and less places to run away from these things. It'll get to the point where the new questions being asked will be "what camera violations do they terminate over?".
And with the AI surge, not sure there's really any other field left to run to.nextgentrucker, Gearjammin' Penguin and Lonesome Thank this.
