Every single day, we run into no less than 4 prime drivers who barely understand English and can't read any of the posted signs unless we use Google translate so much so they enter a driver way that has 6 "WRONG WAY DO NOT ENTER" signs.

A major carrier is complicit with giving a CDL to non English speaking or reading new hires.

Once they finish the new DOT HQ a few miles from my contract, I'll be calling dot daily.

They still gotta find dummies to sign the flease contracts, sure helps if the drivers can't read

Are you talking about Amazon Prime or Prime Transport? There's honestly a big difference between the quality of employees between these two companies.

    Prime Inc.

Always knew prime had mediocre drivers, but there has been a sharp spike in prime drivers, not contractors or brokered loads, actual prime drivers, showing up not being able to communicate.

Im in the boat of, as long as you can somewhat communicate, you're good, if you need Google translate as the sole way to communicate, you're not good.

Maybe call the FBI. Or the CIA. Texas Rangers should be available. Local law enforcement? Maybe they can handle an investigation.

How do you know that the drivers in question, are not contracted to the trucks owner? I'm betting Prime has a few owners who own several trucks.

How do you know Prime Inc illegally gives out CDLs? Did you take one glance at these drivers, profiled them, and assumed they couldn't speak English?

Refuse to load them if they can’t communicate. It’s a simple solution. If enough places start doing it then the problem will eventually take care of itself.

I'll assume he means Amazon prime. He never clarified. But yes, deport them all English or not. But big money corps will never go back to paying more to ship. They'll pay off the politicians, Dems or reps. It's all just really about making the money in govt.
This left vs right is a ride to keep us fighting. When Elon was dode-ing, both sides wanted him gone. We're still sending 40 miles a week to the Taliban

As part of my contract, at times I need to help drivers being a driver myself.

I think I've interacted with every flavor of prime inc truck.

The L/O with custom decals, the L/O with a basic prime decal, 3rd party contractors i.e. trans am, purple priority/power, Wilson, the brokered prime loads, O/O that are leased onto prime, and company drivers.

    Oxbow Thanks this.
