Trucker returns to find trailer loaded with $16 million worth of cocaine at truck stop
Wild story, this driver stopped at a pilot and when he went inside for a bit cartel drug runners put 16 million of coke in his trailer. The driver noticed his seal had been tampered with upon doing his pre trip and called authorities. I’d be investigating who that load was going to as obviously they were in on it and waiting for it.
More reason to use your locks.

How many lbs would that be?
Carpenter Scotty Thanks this. -
You can ballpark it around 50000 per kilo, that would be 320 kilos. Around 705 pounds without packaging.JolliRoger, 4mer trucker and Lonesome Thank this.

Part of me would have liked to see them play dumb like they didn't find anything, and then swap out the driver with a cop wrapped up in body armor from the neck down and then trail the truck with a bunch of unmarked cars while it appears to go on its merry way, but I realize this isn't a movie.

Just need to follow the vehicle that is now following the truck. There would definitely be eyes on it until the unload happened

that’s why drones were invented,
but until the coppers checked the load, nobody knew what was missing, or put on there. And if it were me, I would have assumed theft, not free dope.Carpenter Scotty Thanks this. -
Agreed, your regular officer would have a whole sideshow on site. Quick thinking customs officers can find , not delay or tip off and follow. At least it’s not in a neighborhood now4mer trucker Thanks this.

I don't believe it. The driver got cold feet.

It does seem a risky chance to break into a trailer and load millions of dollars of drugs on board with the hope of getting it off at a later point before the final delivery.
And if it was an inside job intending the final delivery to be at the same place, why not replace the seal with a matching seal so no one notices?
How hard could that be with a multi-million dollar deal?
There are so many holes in this story. It sounds like an AI fabrication.silverspur, tscottme, Still undecided and 1 other person Thank this.
