To be fair, they do pay me $100 extra for going east of the PA border (but not coming back). So I'll give them that. But it would take a lot more money than that for me to ignore all of the issues of the East Coast
From what I can tell from their website, they don't have APUs at all. I'm not sure I'd be in their hiring area either.

If Steve Schelin is still director of recruiting the process of onboading is a good one. Careful with his recruiters though they can be "optimistic". If I have to go back OTR they are on the short list to call.Cobrawastaken and Chinatown Thank this.

Op, make sure to look up Cox and Mountain West milk. They are both in SW(ish) Utah, have reefer divisions and 11 western focus or did. They were on my OTR list early on due to proximity to home.
Cobrawastaken Thanks this. -
I mentioned before that Holland would be and is your best option to run west. I still stand by that statement. You really should call them.
drvrtech77, Bumper and Cobrawastaken Thank this. -
Since you've been running tank, ever thought about pressure tanks? High Pressure Transport is out of Oklahoma and I deal with their driver quite a bit. % pay plan, they run good equipment, drivers I've talked to say they make $125-175,000 a year.

Thanks for the reply, but I've already made a decision. I'll be making a separate thread in the near future.Last edited: Jan 9, 2026 at 2:02 AM
