The vva system is the egr on a Cat…..it’s called the “miller cycle” Cat used it to simply avoid an external egr valve. BXS, MXS and NXS serial numbers

My 2003 379 came with a 6NZ. Yours must have been manufactured after 9/30/2002.

It is not EGR 07 would be an NXS which is an ACERT with IVA’s only.

I think we're still just assuming it has a Cat engine. Probably does. Doubt they put a Detroit or Cummins in a truck like that. I'd be curious what the full specs were on it.
