I honestly didn't realize when I originally put in for my hometime. That I was going back to the truck on Christmas. Because I haven't really cared about the holiday for a couple years now

Leaving walmart for Barr-Nunn regardless of what you claim is not smart. I mean, think about it for a second. And trust me I drove for walmart and I could care less about them. You have to realize that 1.) 100k ain’t much anymore. 2.) most carriers are going to lie. It’s that simple.

WalMart may be the perfect job for some, but not all.

It's the easiest piece of cake job driving trucks you can get. Some drivers want to cut corners though and they don't tolerate that.

My son works for Walmart and he works harder with longer hours to make less than what I do and I'm home every day.

Fellow driver came to my last employer, taking a .07 mile pay cut. His last job he’d frequently spend 12 hours trying to knock off 300 miles
Lower pay with my employer however he was assigned 1200 mile linehaul run twice a week. Much more lucrative

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Exactly! Wal Mart ain't for everybody, just like LTL ain't for everybody, or linehauls ain't for everybody. If they work for you, fantastic.

    bryan21384 Thanks this.
