Welp I should had known better and put myself in a spot I was not thinking about clearly.
This load was 5 drops and all drops but the last one is done. The last drop is in Sioux Falls SD and the place is closed today and tomorrow.
Broker rep is trying to get ahold of someone but this is a (TQL) load I have no faith at all in these clowns. First guy I talked to seemed to be a decent person and waited an hour and called back. Second guy is a less than professional. Tried to have a legit conversation with him and he hung up on me at the end. Ha ha I just cant deal with stupid at this point.
Of course I did everything right on this load and made every drop on time and even a little earlier.
So now I need to figure out what to do. I am 350 miles from home and plan on going home sooner rather than later. The place I picked load up is about an hour from me as well. So if they cannot figure out how to get this unloaded today they will either have to pay me to come back or take it to the shipper.
My biggest issue is I have a Dr appt Friday at 10 AM and might not be able to make it here on Friday before they close and they are closed on Monday as well.
What would you guys do on this load?
Waiting on Information on Last Stop Because store closed today and X Mas

Personally, I'd get all conversations in email, and make sure you have original copies of the RC showing todays delivery date.
In the email give them a time that you need a resolution by or you have to leave.D.Tibbitt, hope not dumb twucker and Siinman Thank this. -
I have been recording our conversations on the phone. Great thing about iPhones now is you can hit record and they know it is being recorded. Changes the conversation real fast when they know it. Nothing in Email as of yet but plan on doing that if no resolution is made by end of day. Welcome to #### show Wednesday! Ha ha

Welp this seems to be getting interesting. Dude that has been rude as hell calls me back after I talked to his supervisor. Supervisor said he was gonna try and find a solution and then left and went home according to this moron. Now he trying to say they are contacting the authorities and say it's a stolen load or whatever because I refused the $300 a day they offered. Ha ha WTF is wrong with people these days.
Told him to tell his supervisor to call me. I am sure he won't and need to figure out what I want to do. I cant get anywhere with the ####### that is in control of this load. I hate this BS in trucking. No one can be professional.Trucker61016, D.Tibbitt and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Just my honest opinion, calling the police and reporting it as a stolen load is a bluff. It would take some time and effort on their end with the police, neither of which they are going to do on an approaching holiday. Maybe give them a number to settle it.

Yea I tried that. They wanted to give me $300 a day. Ha ha not gonna happen. I told them to call the police as well if they felt like they needed to. They could not do anything about it anyways at this point. I am sitting in the parking lot of the receiver. What they gonna do unload it for me? Ha haD.Tibbitt Thanks this.

What are u hauling.? How bad would it be to break down the pallet or whatever and unload it in the muddiest place you can find...i can always be more petty than anybody in the worldTrucker61016, Carpenter Scotty and Siinman Thank this.

Tell them that you’ll take the load home with you, and won’t be able to deliver until after new years. Also you’ll need the same RPM on the 700 miles that will take you to get home and back. If that doesn’t get them moving than you might have to suck it up. They are dirty idiots who do whatever they want.
They tried stealing 80k from company that I work for due to theft of a loaded flatbed with a coil while driver was at home for weekend. Lawyer was able to sort the situation out, however our company hasn’t used them for over 10 years.Trucker61016, Siinman and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
